To the Stall Community:
No one desires to replace any officer in a student organization; however, sometimes circumstances require such a change. When seeking someone to fill the newly emptied office of Co-President, I knew I had to find someone whose commitment and time focused on Student Council's success would be unquestionable. Realizing that our situation was not improving, I spent time thinking through the possible replacements. Since we had a person in the position who had been unable to participate or lead the activities of the Student Council, I felt strongly that I needed to recruit someone whom we could depend on to show consistently. We consulted and worked with the Administration to place the person on probation for more than 6 weeks before taking the steps necessary to remove them. I recruited the person I felt would best lead the organization and help Student Council continue to grow. I accept full responsibility for the decision and appreciate the Executive Board's agreement with my selection.
